Taramira oil expressed from the seeds of Eruca vesicaria Cav. ssp sativa Thell ( syn. Eruca sativa) is used for culinary purposes( as a condiment in the preparation of pickles and for flavoring curries and vegetables ).
The oil cake is mostly used as cattle feed.
